about

I have been moved to make this piece of music by recent world events. I hope it will be an opportunity for people who listen to it to pause, stop and reflect on where we go from here. Recently I feel as if we are losing sight of what really is important in the world. Until everyone sees the bigger picture and stops being waylaid by the detail then not much will change. Division has historically been woven into the fabric of society; division of class, division of race, division of creed, division of gender, division of ideologies. I imagine that the hearts of young people are torn as they see the generations before them unable and unwilling to unify. There seems to be an inability to learn from previous mistakes in history. The bigger picture is in the hands of the future. To move forward we must embrace unity and togetherness and we must learn to realise we all are the same inside. We all have our fears, we all love, we all feel and as clichéd as this sounds, we are all human.
